Learn more about John and what he will do as a Councilmember.
Ray and John are fathers, husbands and corporate professionals who are committed to their community.
Together, they offer a balance of experience and vision that will continue to steer Rutherford in the right direction - a direction that will protect our home values, maintain services and keep Rutherford a welcoming home for all residents and their families.
These are just some of the reasons Ray and John are excited for Rutherford's future:
Property Values At An All-Time High Rutherford is now the first choice for people looking to plant roots in this area. Both commercial and residential real estate inventory are at a premium. Homebuyers do their research: they see Rutherford as a town with a future.
Responsible Redevelopment
Responsible development means fulfilling the Borough’s affordable housing obligations as required by the State of New Jersey through modern, 21st century construction. This administration has vowed to allow redevelopment only within our designated Transit Village area and walking distance of the train station—creating a more robust downtown while preserving our quaint residential area that makes up the majority of the Borough.
Strengthened Infrastructure
This administration has worked hard to receive funding through grants and appropriations for much needed improvements, such as the refurbishment of Clara’s Tunnel, stormwater mitigation, the rehabilitation of Memorial Park, and the state-of-the-art, newly opened Police Headquarters and Municipal Court building, giving our police department the facility they deserve.
Recreation Upgrades
The Borough is on the exciting precipice of a once-in-a-lifetime overhaul of Memorial Park. This is the kind of project that requires thoughtful stewardship impacting multiple generations.
